This Journey will take you through Northern and Eastern Uganda. Northern Uganda is well Known for the 20 Years insurgency of the Rebels of Lord’s Resistance Army. It is after the Rhino tracking that you will drive straight up North into Gulu town. This town was Known as the war capital. Kids commuted and stayed on the streets of Gulu town during the war. This was in order to escape a forceful and possible abduction and consequent forceful recruitment into the rebel army Headed by Joseph Kony. After Northern Uganda you will head to the North East towards Kenya and South Sudan Boarder into Kidepo Valley National park. This park is known as the true Savanna park of Africa. Here you can see the Cheetahs and Lions attacking their prey in an open space. After here you will head down to the Eastern part of Uganda taking another walk and hikes in the Mount Elgon and Mount Moroto near the Border with Kenya. Winding it down at the source of the Nile for a beautiful relaxation is what you will be looking forward to. River Nile in The longest River in Africa. Lots of Activities in Jinja includes Bungee jumping, Rafting, Horse riding. Here you can also visit the local market and do a little shopping.
